When the sox never stop falling through your hands
When you walk by your bed and it seems like a foreign land, 

When homework is the longest half hour of your day
When the lunch box has to be washed and you just want to throw it away,

When they crawl up your ass only to be the final straw to break your patience
When they scream your name on there scraped knee awaiting your kisses of maintenance,

Remember how he smelt when he fell asleep on your chest
Remember how you felt when you job isn't to easy to catch your breath,

Remember his voice when he tells you about his day
Remember his smile when he looks at you in that special way,

When he is towering over your mighty stature in his adulthood
Those blue eyes a window in the heart you raised into someone that’s exceptionally good,

Now look back at those socks that fell through your hand,
And know you had so much to do with making this most amazing man
